Compensation Lawyer And Set-Up Highway Crimes

Beware; we have modern-day “Dick Turpins’” at work on our roads, not quite “Stand and deliver” at gun point, but there’s a striking similarity.
There is a crime that is sweeping the country and innocent drivers are the victims. The drivers are ambushed into a situation they have no control over.
This is what can happen:
You may be following a vehicle, generally an ageing car or van, onto a roundabout or slip road. This vehicle, which often has no brake lights, brakes hard and you cannot avoid slamming into it.
There may be two cars involved. The car in front of you might brake sharply because the second car pulls into its path on purpose.
If this happens to you, it is vital that you get in touch with a compensation lawyer who will be able to claim money back for you from these criminal motorists.
These “set up” crashes commonly occur at really busy roundabouts or motorway slip roads. The people behind the crashes have practise at blame the innocent drivers for the crash. These highwaymen of the present say are part of a larger group of people who run repair garages and have a number of cars in use. These firms present falsely inflated invoices for work carried out, hire of a car whilst the car is off the road and so on. Then they will claim for compensation on the innocent motorist’s insurance which costs the innocent even more money. The highwaymen will carry the maximum number of passengers and they will all claim to be injured which means that even more compensation claims are logged. In this way a minor accident claim can escalate into a claim of £20,000 or more.
Insurers are quite rightly extremely concerned about the scale of these so called “accidents” and believe there could be as many as 10,000 of them occurring per year. To deal with the massive problem, the Insurance Fraud Bureau has been set up by the Association of British Insurers. The Bureau and the police work in conjunction to discover the gangs behind these road crimes and prosecute them.
Each day motorists and passengers are at risk from the work of these gangs. It is vitally important that insurers and drivers work together in a concerted effort to stop this crime.
