Some people say that you have to be on Facebook or other social networking webpages otherwise you don't exist. Lately I have seen myself beginning to agree with these individuals. To discover out what is going on in the lives of individuals you know you only have to join these social network sites. Keeping in touch is nearly impossible without them.

Still don't just think of these sites as a way of keeping up to date about the lives of mates. Advertising yourself and promoting your product is another convenience of these sites as many real estate agents have found out. The times when a billboard or a small advertisement in a newspaper was enough for propagation of one's work or business are long defunct and they will never come back. Using and publicizing on the internet is now the way to go. If you browse the internet, you will find lots of articles with ideas on how to use, and promote yourself, on social networking sites.

Of course it's much more time consuming for older generations to get used to all the kinds of new websites, systems of writing, commenting and all the related tasks. For the older individual it is going to take time to wade through, whereas children seem to know how to do it naturally. In spite of that, we have a go I don't accept it's just me that feels like that and a few of my fellow realtors are finding it just as hard.

Navigating the internet, posting on social websites and finding interesting and new things to post on our blogs is usually the last thing we want to do after a tiring day at work. It developed into a part of our daily habits. Chilling out now means going on-line to get our social networking chore completed. Is it in vain, or are people intrigued or care about what we post about? Do the public, other than fellow realtors, actually study the articles we write? Is there an reply to that question, I don't think so.

I actually do inspect the websites of my fellow real estate agents and I do read the features they write, because the topics are of interest. Are these features of any interest to the public not involved in the housing market, that I can't answer. By reading colleagues blogs and articles, it doesn't matter how often I see them, I am always up to date with their lives. I know now more about colleagues that I haven't spoken to for ages due to the internet and the social network websites. That sure is brilliant!

As a realtor I sell Condominiums in Toronto, and I consider social networking to be one of the key ways of getting new leads. I hope this brief article did help you
